Storyboard - 4.0.0.0

For general information about storyboard concept, please see Basic Concepts

  • You can set Metus MAM to create storyboards for all or some of the assets in the MAM database automatically (for archival/library settings, please see ADMINISTRATION) (for default settings about storyboard please see Storyboard Options - 4.0.0.0)
  • Or you can create storyboards for the assets manually from asset right click menu/storyboard/create a storyboard

  • Total Frames MAM will divide the video virtually into 'number of total frames' and take the first frame of each part for the storyboard
  • Interval MAM will take the first frame of each 'interval'. For example, if you enter 00:00:20:00, MAM will take the first frame of every 20 seconds of the video
  • MAM recognizes the scene changes in the video for better storyboard experience. You can either set a number for max scene changes, (MAM will choose that number of most dramatic scene changes) or set MAM to use the first frame of All scene changes.
  • You can also change the default image size. Please see Storyboard Options - 4.0.0.0
  • You can then click Create Storyboard to view your storyboard.

You can select one or multiple (CTRL hold) frames, or all frames to export as an image file, you see below the image MAM created with the 3 selected frames from the storyboard.

You can add pictures from your network with Add picture command
