Installing and Upgrading Ingest Control Agent

Installation

  • The Metus Ingest Control Agent can only be installed to the computer that the Metus Ingest application runs.
  • Install Metus Ingest Control Agent Software by running “Metus Ingest Control Agent v2.x.x.msi”

Note:Please install this agent after installing Metus Ingest.

Upgrading Metus Ingest Control Agent

Upgrade assumes that any previous version of Metus Ingest Control Agent is already installed in your computer.

  1. Please remove the previous version of Metus Ingest Control Agent using Add / Remove Programs option in the Control Panel.
  2. Delete the installation folder of previous versions from “...\Program Files\Metus Technology\Metus Ingest Control Agent” folder.
  3. Follow the instructions above for installing new version of Metus Ingest Control Agent.
