Installing and Upgrading Ingest Control Center

Installation

1. For Win7:Install .NET Framework 3.5 with sp1 by running the “dotnetfx35 with sp1.exe” file in the Requirements folder.

Note:Your operating system may need Windows Installer 3.1 in order to install .NET Framework. In that case please install “WindowsInstaller 3_1 x86.exe” file in the Requirements folder.

Note:When .NET Framework 3.5 with sp 1 is installed. The installer will also install previous version of .NET Framework. Please DO NOT uninstall those previous versions.

2. Install MCC Software by running “Metus Control Center.msi” and follow the instructions as it seen on the screen.

3. Install License Dongle Key Driver. The License Dongle Key must be plugged to a computer’s USB port where Metus Ingest will be installed. Please plug the dongle key if it is not plugged and run “License Manager.exe” to install dongle drivers and related software. Use default settings for the License Manger installation wizard by clicking next buttons.

Upgrading Metus Control Center

Upgrade assumes that any previous version of MCC is already installed in your computer.

1. Please remove the previous version of MCC using Add / Remove Programs option in the Control panel.

2. Delete the installation folder of previous versions from “...\Program Files\Metus Technology\Metus Control Center” folder

3. Follow the instructions above for installing new version of MCC.
