How to collect the logs and send to Metus team?
Sometimes, we request the log files to analyze what happened on MAM Archive System. This article will go over how you can collect the log file so you are able to send it to us for review, please follow the instructions below;
MAM Desktop Client Logs;
Metus MAM Desktop Client log files are usually stored in the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Metus Technology\Metus MAM\MLLog.txt” folder. Please follow the steps below to collect log files.
Please open the Windows File Explorer.
Navigate to the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Metus Technology\Metus MAM\” folder.
Find the MLLog.txt file.
Right-click on “MLLog.txt” log, click Copy, and choose a location to save the log file such as your Desktop.
Once you’ve saved the logs to the location you specified, you’ll need to compress them in order to be able to send quickly over the internet. Right-click on the log file and choose “Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder”. This will create a zip archive of the logs, you can then attach that to an email.
MAM Desktop Client Dynamic Bin trace logs;
Metus MAM Desktop Client Dynamic Bin trace log files are usually stored in the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Metus Technology\Metus MAM\DynamicBinTracer\” folder. Please follow the steps below to collect log files.
Please open the Windows File Explorer.
Navigate to the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Metus Technology\Metus MAM\” folder.
Find the DynamicBinTracer folder.
Right-click on “DynamicBinTracer” folder, click Copy, and choose a location to save the log file such as your Desktop.

Once you have Event Viewer open look on the left-hand side of the window, look for the “Applications And Services Logs” item and click the arrow in front of the name to expand that section and Right-click on “MAS” log.
Once you click on the “MAS” log, click Save All Events As… and choose a location to save the log file such as your Desktop.
