All sources can be recorded as video files to a local hard disk or to a network drive.
The Recording option can be configured from the Global Settings for all sources, as well as individually for each source.

Before you start recording, please make sure that you have configured the video recording settings in the Settings menu.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Source Recording:

Recording file format is MOV with SpeedHQ Codec.

You can start recording the selected source by clicking the Start Record button for each source individually, or you can start recording for all added sources by clicking the Start All Record button in the Main Panel. Please see the reference image below.

Configuring Global Recording settings:

  1. To configure Global “Recording” settings, go to Options menu.

  2. Switch to “Recordings” tab.

  3. Configure the settings in accordance with your recording location.

Recording settings can also be configured individually for each source, follow the steps below to find out how.

  1. To configure “Recording” settings for “Source Based” please go to the “Source Options” menu.

  2. Switch to “Recordings” tab.

  3. Enable “Override Global Customize Option” checkbox.

  4. Configure the settings in accordance with your recording location.

You can also set an Auto Split and Life Time for each record, please follow the next steps to configure these settings:

  1. Switch to the “Recordings” menu.

  2. Enable “Auto Split” checkbox.

  • Auto Split : You can increase or decrease the Auto Split values in seconds by dragging the slider to the right or left. (The recorded files can be automatically split according to the duration you set).
  1. Enable “Life Time” checkbox.

  • Life Time : You can increase or decrease the recorded file lifespan in days by dragging the slider to the right or left. (The recorded files will be automatically deleted after the set time.)

Metus NDI Multiview Controller application includes a Filter menu for filter the list of successfully recorded video files. You could use to search a list of successfully recorded video files, please utilize the filter button located on the interface of Metus NDI Multiview Controller application.

Please enter a specific date range in the "Filter" menu to search for successfully recorded video files. Then, click the search button on the right-hand side of the window to display all recorded events in the description window.
