• Integration with ATEM Production Switchers

With Logger, directors operating an ATEM unit switch and mix between cameras as usual. While each video source is captured in its entirety by recorders, the director’s real-time editorial decisions are logged, ready to be imported into Final Cut Pro X, Final Cut 7 and Adobe Premiere (Win or Mac) as a project file. Editors can then start work on all tracks immediately, with preliminary edit decisions and camera selections instantly displayed on the timeline.

Metus Logger runs on a Windows laptop or workstation, connecting to the ATEM switcher by Ethernet. Logger works with any professional recorder that captures timecode or with Metus Ingest multi-channel software recorder that further accelerates workflows by removing the need to digitize tapes, transcode media or import cards.

The users associate clips with camera inputs then export the logs as Final Cut Pro X, Final Cut 7 and Adobe Premiere (Win or Mac) project file and start final editing.
