Ingest Bitfocus Companion

The following applications are required to run the Bitfocus Companion, if you have a previous

version of these applications, before beginning the installation, please make sure that the below

applications are installed and updated.

• Metus Ingest Control Agent v3.3.5 or above version.

• Metus INGEST v5.9.4.2 or above version.

• Metus INGEST WEB v2.2.0 or above version.

• Bitfocus Companion v4.0.1 or above version.
  
  

In order to use the Metus Ingest Controller plugin, it is necessary to import the *.tgz module package using the "Import Module Package" button.
Note: Please make sure you request the current module package from Metus Technology, because there is no current version in the companion connection list.

Once the above steps have been completed, the connection will be established by entering the “Ingest API URL" section in the "Connection" menu. The default port is 5000.

Once the connection has been successfully established, you can then use the preset buttons in the "Preset" window.
