GPIO Encoder Control - The Latest
You can reach GPIO Encoder control menu from Tools/GPIO Encoder control.
Click 'Activate GPIO Encoder Control'. Select your installed GPIO card in your INGEST workstation from the device drop-down menu (It is Adlink PCI7230/LPCIe-7230 in this case). You can configure the command (start/stop encoder) to be executed and the encoder to be controlled when received a certain GPI pulse.
GPIO Output feature is used to monitor the encoders' status. Select an output and enter the name of the encoder that will be monitored on this output pin. When the encoder runs this pin, it is set to one (probably has +5V voltage) and when the encoder stops this pin, it is set to zero (probably has 0V or -5V). Low and high voltage values (for set and unset status) for the output pins can be found in the cards specifications.
