Remote Control - 4.0.1.3

Remote control option is used for controlling Metus Ingest through command prompt or through other external protocol like Telnet. You can reach Remote Control Settings tab by clicking Tools > Options > Remote Control .

Enable option is used to enable/disable this feature.

TCP Port is the port where remote users will connect Metus Ingest.

       Enable Password option is used to ask for password when external application wants to connect Metus Ingest.

       Character Set option is used for overcoming character encoding problems in different languages. You can see supported languages by clicking      option.
