1) Web API:

In order to enable Web API Control mode;

  1. Click Tools menu.

  2. Select Option.

  3. From the option menu go to "Web API".

  4. From the right menu please enable the "Web API" control mode.

  5. Click "OK" button.


The Address should be added to firewall exceptions. 

Open command line as admin mode and run this command:

netsh http add urlacl url=[address] user=everyone

for example:

netsh http add urlacl url=http://11.11.10.70:3176/ user=everyone

1) MOS Settings:

In order to enable MOS control mode;

  1. Click Tools menu.

  2. Select Option.

  3. From the option menu go to "MOS Settings".

  4. From the right menu please enable the "MOS Settings" control mode.

  5. Please define your MOS Server settings in the following fields.
  6. Click "OK" button.

2) Telnet:


In order to enable Telnet Control mode;


1) Click Tools menu.

2) Select Option.

3) From the left menu select "Telnet Control".

4) From the right menu activate "Enable" checkbox.

5) Select the Network Adapter that you wish to use from drop&down menu.

6) Define a port or leave as defaults.

7) If you wish to define a password enable the password checkbox and define a password.

8) Click "OK" button.


3) GPIO:


If you have a GPIO card and pinned cable, Metus Player can be controlled through GPIO commands. You can configure the command (Start/Stop/Pause Player) to be executed and the Player to be controlled when received a certain GPI pulse. Adlink PCI7230 card is supported. In order to enable GPIO mode;


1) Click Tools menu.

2) Go to Option.

3) From the left menu select "GPIO".

4) From the right menu activate "Activate GPIO control" checkbox.

5) Define the actions that you wish to assign from the drop&down menu.

6) Click "OK" button.
