Image RemovedIn order to open the Viewer Window you need to double click on the asset.

ASSET

  • You can save your modifications for the asset which are done in the viewer (mark, master in-outs, metadata changes, custom in-out points etc) with Save Changes Now

  • With Save and Continue, a pop-up window will come up. You will enter a name, and MAM will save the modified asset as a new one with the entered name

TRANSCODE, CREATE PROXY, ARCHIVE, RETRIEVE commands are the same with the Asset Right Click Menu. Please see Asset Commands - 34.70.10.0


With Save As, you have detailed options to save your modified asset. You will enter the new name, choose the bin to save to with options of reloading the original asset after save and trim mark in-out points  (also, you have the Only File option in library projects which allows you to have a new file in your disc, but not a new asset in the project.

VIEW

  • View menu is where you can customize your Asset Viewer's appearance and select the panels to be shown.

PLAYBACK

  • Play, Pause, Stop, To Start, To End, Next Frame, Previous Frame, Next Clip and Previous Clip is the traditional VTR control commands which also can be found as buttons bottom panel of the Viewer.
  • You can configure the Viewer to start playing the asset automatically with Auto Start
  • Loop button can also be found at the bottom panel
  • You can set the Viewer to play between In-Out points, only between Custom In-Out points , and play excluding Custom In-Out points from Playback Range
  • Playback Rate is where you can set your playback speed (left panel)
  • Offset is where you can jump to particular offset points in the timeline
  • Audio settings can also be found in the right bottom panel of the Viewer

 

TIMELINE
