You can reach GPIO Encoder control menu from Tools/GPIO Encoder control.

Click 'Activate GPIO Encoder Control'. Select your installed GPIO card in your INGEST workstation from the device drop-down menu (It is Adlink PCI7230 in this case). You can configure the command (start/stop encoder) to be executed and the encoder to be controlled when received a certain GPI pulse.
